Designed and developed Sutra Magazine end-to-end, directing layouts, photography, editorial content, and all brand assets to maintain a cohesive visual identity.

Serving as the sole designer on Sutra Magazine, the role involved creating layouts, selecting typography, retouching and color-correcting photography, and managing the production process from concept through final output. Consistency was maintained across each issue while introducing new workflows to improve efficiency. Beyond the publication, all brand-related assets were developed, including promotional materials, digital content, and social visuals. Collaboration with contributors and vendors, refinement of creative elements based on feedback, and adherence to tight deadlines balanced aesthetic innovation with practical execution to deliver polished, impactful work.

Magazine Layout

I executed full-spectrum design for Sutra Magazine each month, translating editorial content into engaging layouts, developing brand-aligned visuals, and ensuring seamless production across print and digital formats.

Events

I produced artwork for event materials, oversaw print vendor processes, and conducted quality checks to guarantee accurate, high-quality outputs. I refined designs, managed timelines, and ensured all collateral reinforced brand identity while enhancing attendee engagement.

Prepress

I managed prepress production for Sutra Magazine, preparing layouts, color separations, and files for printing. I ensured technical accuracy, optimized image resolution, collaborated with vendors on specifications, and conducted quality checks to guarantee precise, high-quality outputs that aligned with design intent  across all print issues.

Photography

I captured and directed photography for editorial content, handling lighting, composition, and styling. I performed all color correction and post-production adjustments, ensuring images were visually cohesive, on-brand, and publication-ready across all mediums.
